Hundreds of brave souls descended on The Mall Blackburn to save the world from a Zombie Apocalypse on Friday and Saturday night…and there are a few tickets remaining for the final events this coming weekend!
Over 50 flesh-eating predators chased teams of twelve through the shopping centre as they battled to find a cure to a zombie epidemic after The Mall teamed up with Wicked Experiences to host the scare fest!
The zombies will return on Friday 5th and Saturday 6th October before they head off across the country to take over more towns.
Laura Diffey, Marketing Manager at The Mall Blackburn, said: “The feedback from the first two Zombie Nightmare events has been fantastic and after taking part on Friday I can personally recommend it!
“The actors were all amazing and the costume and make-up was very realistic, so this event certainly isn’t for the faint hearted!
“It was brilliant to see so many people having fun and we are looking forward to welcoming the zombies back this weekend.”
The petrifying event was organised by Wicked Experiences and Events Director Ash Gamon is delighted with ticket sales to date.
He said: “The response we’ve had in Blackburn and the surrounding areas has been phenomenal. The Mall Blackburn is such a great venue and our customers enjoyed taking part in their own realistic version of Dawn of the Dead!”

Zombie Nightmare is a large-scale scare attraction experience involving escape room style clues, immersive moments of deep suspense, critical decision making, theatrical interactions and ultimately – running for your life!
The final events take place throughout the evening on Friday 5th October and Saturday 6th October.
