Blackburn with Darwen Libraries have been running a competition linked to our Arts Council funded Children’s Literature Festival on the theme of kindness, and to give you a little more time to get your entries finished off, they’ve decided to extend the deadline to 12th November.
There are two categories, open to all ages – prose/poetry and illustration.
To enter simply write (prose or poetry) or draw what kindness means to you, then make sure your entry is clearly marked ‘fao Andrew Orr’ and hand it in at your nearest Blackburn with Darwen library or email it to library@blackburn.gov.uk.
You can also email it to Christina Gabbitas at info@childrensliteraturefestivals.com.
Please make sure it’s in by 12th November, whichever way you choose to send it.
