• 17^th & 18^th August: Hackburn, make & mend, Blackburn is Open shop 6pm
• 19^th to 22^nd August: Get Crafty “Masks, Hats & Crowns” summer crafts at Blackburn Museum 12 – 4pm
• 19^th August: Alf  Wrights Afternoon Variety Show, Windsor Suite, King Georges Hall 2pm
• 20^th August: ArtSpace, monthly meet up, Blackburn is Open Shop 6.30pm
• 20^th August: Crazy Cartoons with John Byrne, Blackburn Library 11-12 noon
• Until 20^th August: Doodlism, An exhibition by Jonathan Hughes, The Bureau
• Until 19^th August: Blackburn & District Camera Club Exhibition, Blackburn is Open Shop 10 -4pm
• Until 31^st August: Blackburn Beach & other fairground attractions, King William St 10-5pm
• Until 5^th Sept: Watercolours: The Great British Artists from the E L Hartley bequest. Exhibition, Blackburn Museum & Art Gallery (Wed –Saturday 12 -4.45pm)
