A huge new ‘selfie’ wall has been installed at The Mall Blackburn and shoppers are being invited to ‘spread their wings’ to raise funds for centre’s Secret Santa shop!
From Friday 6th December until Wednesday 18th December The Mall will donate funds to the community interest company every time a picture of someone wearing a Christmas jumper at the selfie wall is uploaded to its Facebook page.
Management will present Secret Santa bosses, Phil and Karen Boulding, with a cheque later in the month, which will be used to buy presents for more than 1000 children.
The group has delivered bags of gifts to children in Blackburn and the surrounding areas since 2017.
This year is the first time Secret Santa has had a store after management at The Mall, who believe every child deserves a gift, offered the community group a unit to help during its busiest time!
Phil Boulding, Managing Director at Secret Santa, said: “We couldn’t believe it when Loraine at The Mall said they were going to launch their selfie wall by raising funds for us as they have already done so much.
“We’re urging everyone to grab their favourite festive knits and head to the selfie wall to get snapping!”

“We’re big supporters of the work Phil and Karen do and firmly believe that every child deserves a gift at Christmas.
“Whether you work, live or shop in Blackburn, we want you to come and get a selfie and share it with us!
“Not only will it fill Facebook with festive cheer, but it will also help raise money for this amazing cause.”
