Santander workers in Blackburn are looking ravishing in red today in aid of the nation’s largest heart charity.
The fundraiser is an extension of the British Heart Foundation’s annual ‘Wear it Red’ campaign, which encourages people to don the colour for one day in support of the charity.
‘Wear It. Beat It.’ day is taking place across the country, with the charity hoping people will wear take part in support of Heart Month, which runs throughout February.
Katherine Wheatley, Branch Director at Santander, Blackburn, said: “We’re always happy to support any charity and we have a team of employees who are happy to get involved.
“Every year we have a charity of the year and this year it’s the British Heart Foundation. We are looking to raise funds and awareness for them as part of their campaign, which I am sure will be very successful.”
