A magical masquerade ball was held in King George’s Hall to celebrate retailers from The Mall Blackburn.
The shopping centre’s Annual Retailer Awards is always a grand affair and this year was no exception, as management handed out accolades to the stores and staff that work hard all year round.
The one they all want to win, Best Overall Retailer, was awarded to Primark after shoppers voted in their thousands.
River Island came top of the shops for Best Customer Experience and Peter Jackson the Jeweller was voted Best Independent Retailer.
The Best Food and Beverage Award went to Costa Coffee and Carphone Warehouse was named Best Service Provider.
Millie’s Cookies bagged two gongs on the evening, one for Health and Safety Compliance and one for its involvement in Mall events.
Best involvement in the Trade Index was handed to Boots The Chemist and staff at Schuh put their best collective feet forward after being recognised as the retailer that contributes the most to The Mall’s social media profiles.
The Fragrance Shop was thanked for its continual commitment to The Mall’s RewardME scheme and last, but certainly not least, O2 walked away with the prize for best involvement in fundraising activity!
There were spot prizes, a drinks raffle and awards for the best-dressed man and woman went to Anthony Hitchens from VSG and Danielle Hunter from Costa Coffee after they pulled out all the stops with their costumes.
