Talented youngster Eliza Salam was crowned second in the Under 16s category of the Paint The Town competition.
Eliza, nine, from Blackburn, showed off her art skills when she drew a pigeon in Blackburn town centre.
She said: “I was going to draw The Mall but I thought it would be too hard. Instead, I decided to draw a pigeon.
“The pigeon had lots of marks on it so it was quite difficult. I think the eyes were the easiest bit.
“I drew it in pencil and shaded the darker bits and smudged the lighter parts. Usually I like to draw people.”
Eliza entered the competition after hearing about it from her dad – and said she was very excited to come out and draw in the town centre on the day.
Eliza was presented with a certificate at the Paint The Town Prize Awards and Exhibition, cheered on by her family.
