The Refreshment Bar, situated on Northgate, will now be open on Sundays between 10am and 3pm.
The café, which has recently expanded their menu and been fully refurbished, stocks a range of homemade food using locally sourced ingredients.
From traditional favourites and homemade pies to toasted sandwiches and paninis, the Refreshment Bar is the perfect one-stop shop for lunch.
The Refreshment Bar also services hot and cold drinks, children’s meals and salad bowls.
Team Member at the Refreshment Bar, Kay Leaver, said: “The café has been fully refurbished but still maintains a traditional feel. We pride ourselves on our locally sourced cheese, meat, cakes and pies. We hope our new opening hours provide shoppers with an affordable eating option in the heart of the town centre.”
Although there is a set menu, the Refreshment Bar can deviate from the menu to satisfy customer requests.
The Refreshment Bar provides the food for Blackburn Buffets, a catering service for Blackburn and the surrounding areas situated at the premises.
