The Mall launches new campaign to coincide with Children’s Mental Health Week

To mark this year’s Children’s Mental Health Week (1–7 February) organised by the charity Place2Be, The Mall Blackburn has launched their ‘My 2021 Time Capsule’ campaign.

Filled with worksheets and activities to complete throughout the week for children to express their thoughts, feelings and be creative!

This year’s theme is all about expressing yourself, therefore The Mall is encouraging little ones to be creative in a variety of ways and ultimately improve mental health.

Children can expect to enjoy colouring in, drawing and writing inside the time capsule with a number of fun activities aimed to allow children to express their feelings.

The free time capsule is available to download from The Mall’s website and can be completed both offline and online. Once completed the time capsule can then be tucked away somewhere safe for children to look back on in 2022.

The Mall has also provided parents and guardians with some top tips to support children and young people – from ideas such as baking and indoor treasure hunts to conversation starters.

Laura Diffey, Marketing Manager at The Mall Blackburn, commented: “It’s great to be able to support this year’s Children’s Mental Health Week. This year, in particular, it is more important than ever for children to be able to convey how they are feeling right now.

“‘My 2021 Time Capsule’ campaign aims to encourage children to express themselves through a number of fun creative ways! The free downloadable activities and worksheets allow children to express their thoughts and feelings in a way that’s unique to them.”
