Little scarecrows are being invited to The Mall Blackburn’s free Harvest Festival this October half term.
The shopping centre will become the home of magical scarecrows Belle and Scratch as they embark on a week-long journey of exciting workshops from Monday 25th October until Sunday 31st October.
Children will be given the chance to take part in mesmerising storytelling sessions, inspiring make and take activities, an exciting Autumn treasure hunt as well as wonderful games and crafts.
The Mall will also be collecting food for Blackburn Foodbank at its designated drop off point at the Ask Me Point.
Loraine Jones, General Manager at The Mall Blackburn, said: “It is wonderful to welcome a Harvest Festival to The Mall this October. Belle and Scratch, our fabulous scarecrows, are sure to entertain with activities to suit all ages and abilities.
“It is amazing to be hosting free events again after such a long time and I can’t wait to see the festival in full swing.
“We will also be using the harvest theme to raise awareness of our collection point for Blackburn Foodbank and our shoppers have already been really supportive with lots of donations.”
The Harvest Festival will take place next to Three in Victoria Court from 11am until 4pm daily.
