Thousands of kids have been enjoying super soccer, battles between aliens and scientists and serious disco dancing as The Mall Blackburn continues its free summer of fun.
Children from across the county are competing for a place on the leader board by taking part in lots of games on The Mall’s award-winning interactive floor projection system, the Active Beam.
Situated in front of the Ask Me Point and suitable from age 2 to 102, everyone is invited to come along and battle it out to be one of three weekly winners, who will receive a £10 Mall Gift Card.
Active Beam turns an empty space into an immersive, engaging and highly entertaining digital floor to play games such as Ball Pit, Bridge it, Super Soccer, Coo Coo Nuts and Aliens vs Scientists and it will be in The Mall until Sunday 2nd September.
Laura Diffey, Marketing Manager at The Mall Blackburn, said: “We have had a fantastic first half of the summer holidays with thousands of children having a great time!
“Active Beam is here for the entire holidays and arrived hot on the heels of our Fantasmapod Virtual Reality experience.
“The school holidays can often pose a problem for parents looking to keep the kids entertained.
“We believe that everyone should enjoy the holidays so we make all our events free – and we look forward to seeing many more children having a fabulous time here at The Mall this summer!”
