A luxurious artisan chocolate shop overflowing with unique delights is set to open in Blackburn town centre this month.
Chocolat By Daniel Coletta has an incredible range of chocolates in some of the most inventive flavours. Most of these bespoke artisan chocolates are inspired by popular flavours, such as Tart Au Citron, Bakewell Tart and the traditional rich and creamy Crème Brûlée.
Daniel Coletta, owner of the business, said: “I’m going to be selling a range of luxury hand made artisan chocolates, chocolate lollies and chocolate bars.
People will be able to learn how to make chocolate using professional equipment at one of my classes taking place in the shop. Currently a room is being transformed into a training kitchen for the chocolate making classes.”
After studying catering, hospitality and patisserie at Blackburn College, Daniel, quickly worked through the ranks of restaurant kitchens to the position of senior pastry chef.
Blackburn’s bright future prospects brought Daniel and his business into the town centre. He said: “Blackburn is my hometown and with the excitement surrounding new creative business here and redevelopment in the town, it is an ideal time to open a shop.”
The grand launch party takes place on November 7 and marks the official opening of the shop. Chocolat By Daniel Coletta will be open to the public from November 15 and is the perfect one stop shop for a sweet treat or luxury gift. The shop is located on James Street, near the former St, John’s Church.
