The Government’s Roadmap to Recovery means that from 12 April at the earliest, as part of Step 2, ‘Outdoor areas at hospitality venues (cafes, restaurants, bars, pubs, social clubs, including in member’s clubs) can reopen, including for takeaway alcohol.
These venues may allow customers to use toilets located inside. At any premises serving alcohol, customers will be required to order, be served and eat/drink while seated (“table service”).’ https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/reopening-businesses-and-venues-in-england/reopening-businesses-and-venues
As previously, Blackburn BID is happy to provide the use of our BID branded gazebos, on a temporary loan basis, where a business has a Licence for outdoor seating (pavement café licence), and public liability insurance covering that outdoor seating area.
We only have 20 gazebos at the moment, so we need to try and benefit as many businesses as possible. To help us help you, if you are a hospitality venue reopening your outdoor area in Step 2, please email@example.com
