VISITORS to Blackburn BID’s Countryside Comes to Town event can get hands on with a pop-up farmyard animal display.
Real life goats, dwarf rabbits, ducks and pigs travel from Fishers Mobile Farm to join visitors for a hands-on petting experience.
Fishers’ mobile petting farm is an attraction for young and old and will be situated on King William Street between 10am – 5pm on Saturday, 25th June.
Liz Wingham of Fishers Mobile Farm Yard, said: “All-in-all this is an exciting & rewarding experience for the children. Especially those without any previous encounters with farm animals. Our visit will enable children to have lots of hands on experience and to interact with the animals.”
The event in Blackburn town centre, which features live creature handling and street theatre, attracted over 76,000 visitors to the town centre last year.
