Free, fun filled spook fest lined up at The Mall!

The Mall Blackburn has lined up a whole host of ghoulish goings on for the scariest school holiday of them all!

From Monday 22nd October until Sunday 28th October the shopping centre’s Victoria Court will be transformed into a free, fun filled spook fest.

Ghosts, ghouls, witches and wizards will provide hours of entertainment with spine-tingling stories, action-packed activities and much more.

Monday and Friday will see children join the ghost busters to rid the world of evil spirits! They will go on scientific quest to discover how ghosts can exist, where to find them and how to defeat the once and for all!

Children are invited to attend the School of Villains on Tuesday, where they there will get tips and learn tricks from baddies including the wicked witch, count Dracula a wizened wizard and many more.

Witches and wizards are the order of the day on Wednesday and Saturday and little ones are invited to join Harry and his Wacky Professor on an adventure to defeat the dark lord, which incudes brilliant broomstick training and spell casting classes.

A pumpkin festival will take place on Thursday and Sunday as Professor Pumpernickel and his apprentice invite green fingered children to help them create the biggest pumpkin in the whole wide world!

Laura Diffey, Marketing Manager at The Mall Blackburn, said: “We’re really excited about our half term line up this year and it is set to be a week full of free fun for children!

“With so many different activities taking place there really will be something for everyone to enjoy, with amazingly realistic characters delivering great performance all day long!

“With Christmas just around the corner we understand that parents need to find cost effective ways to keep the kids entertained in the school holidays, so all our activities are totally free of charge.”

All the activities will take place in Victoria Court, next to The Mall’s new soft play area, from 11.00am until 4.00pm.
