A fantastic festive street feast will be served as part of Blackburn’s Christmas Lights Switch on day taking place on Saturday 25th November.
Visitors coming into town for the Fire Garden event at 4.30pm at Blackburn Cathedral will be able to enjoy a delicious menu of hot food and drinks served in a pop up festive food court on King William Street.
A wide range of food and drink traders from across the region have been booked to serve throughout the day (from 11am) with a range of international flavours and freshly cooked specialities and treats from German Sausages to Prosecco.
After visiting the Fire Garden, food will be served through the switch on ceremony outside the Town Hall which starts at 6pm, culminating at 6.30pm with an aerial performance and firework display.
Food and drink available on the day will include traditional German sausages and hot dogs, scrumptious pies meat and vegetarian, served with pie liquor, gravy, home made mushy peas, charcoal BBQ skewer kebabs, crepes, a hot chocolate bar, Neapolitan pizzas, Indian street food, authentic Thai cuisine and to wash it all down, mulled wine & cider, prosecco, craft beers and hot gluhwein. The food & drink court will be open on King William Street from 11am to 7pm.
