Find the right course for you at Blackburn College

PROSPECTIVE students are invited to look around Blackburn College’s £65m state-of-the-art campus and learn all about the courses available on Tuesday 20th September and Thursday 22nd September for prospective A-Level students.

The College is holding Student Recruitment Events from 4.30 until 8pm, with a host of activities and guidance available in each of the departments to show the varied range of opportunities on offer.

On Tuesday 20th September, staff will be on hand at the £8.8m Beacon Centre to offer advice about the range of A Levels, vocational courses, apprenticeships, traineeships and adult courses available.

The dedicated £14m University Centre at Blackburn College will also be open on the night to showcase the wide range of degrees, foundation degrees, HNDs and HNCs, professional courses and Access to Higher Education courses.

In addition the College’s new flagship buildings the £7million Futures Centre, £13.5million Blackburn Sports and Leisure Centre and the £5.5m Regional Automotive Technology Hub will be opening doors for visitors.

Visitors who are specifically interested in studying A-Levels are advised to visit the Sixth Form Centre on Thursday 22nd September, again from 4.30-8pm.

The College, rated Outstanding by Ofsted, now boasts more than 3,000 higher education students, enjoys a 100% pass rate in 22 A Level subjects, along with 9 out of 10 students being in work or further study six months after graduation. Blackburn College is number 1 in England for Apprenticeship success*.
