A long-established jewellery business has announced the opening of a new private area designed to enhance customer experience and create a personal service in Blackburn.
A Ainsworth & Sons Jewellers has knocked out the old style ‘fitting rooms’ and renovated the space into a modern diamond and bridal centre.
Philip Ainsworth, owner of the Jewellers and Blackburn BID Board Member, said: “Customers can book a time to come in and look at a wide selection of jewellery for a special occasion in a private and relaxed environment. We can also look at existing jewellery if the customer wishes to have it re-set, remodelled or valued.”
Mr Ainsworth added: “The Cathedral Quarter will become a big key gateway into the town and we will invest in our business at a time when the town is investing so much also.”
To mark the opening of the diamond and bridal centre, the Darwen Street jewellers will throw an official launch party in autumn this year to coincide with the finishing of the Cathedral Quarter.
Manager of the Blackburn BID, Harriet Roberts, said: “It’s positive to hear that another independent business is expanding their services and offering a new in-store only incentive for visitors to come shopping in Blackburn.”
