Located opposite New Look on Cobden Court, Ed’s all-American menu will serve the best US diner classics every single day. Serving up breakfast, lunch and dinner (plus everything inbetween!) tuck into an enticing array of great value classics that come fully loaded, cooked to perfection and served with a smile. Welcomed by retro neon lights and nostalgic music courtesy of vintage Dime Selector juke boxes, diners can relax by choosing their best-loved hits of the era with every penny going to the humanitarian charity, Action Against Hunger.
The Menu How do you like your eggs in the morning? How about in the form of two fluffy slices of French toast with strawberries, blueberries, bacon and maple syrup? Or pull back those covers for Ed’s ‘Just Outa Bed’ Breakfast with back bacon, sausages, free range griddled egg, grilled tomato, Portobello mushroom and hash brown.
To satisfy your lunch or dinner hunger pangs, grab one of the 16 juicy hamburgers on the menu including our ‘Burger of The Month’. Made from fully traceable ‘Farm Assured’ beef, selections include ‘The Original’ with lettuce, tomato, onion, dill pickle and Ed’s Diner Sauce. Veggies will also dig the Chickpea & Quinoa served in ‘The Original’ style. Those with a penchant for hot-dogs will go potty for the De-Luxe Pulled Pork Dog smothered with BBQ pulled pork, and there’s even salads such as the Chicken Dijon with chicken breast goujons, bacon bits and honey and mustard dressing for those looking for a lighter bite. Got a humdinger of an appetite? Grab many of these delicious dishes in the Ed’s Plate combo, which includes your choice of main, plus fries, coleslaw and onion rings!
If the little ones are in tow, combat tantrums and tears with Ed’s Junior Bites menu featuring burgers, puppy dogs and mini moo milkshakes. They’ll get a fun-filled colouring mat and crayons plus their very own junior chef hats!
Ed’s are thrilled to launch a GF accredited gluten-free menu – meaning people with coeliac disease can now get their 1950’s diner fix. As the first burger chain to be accredited by Coeliac UK, the national charity for people with coeliac disease, the new menu offers a mega 85% of the dishes from the non-GF menu. Now Ed’s fans needn’t miss out on their faves such as one of the UK’s first ever gluten-free hot-dog and Celia Gluten Free Beer!
A variety of sodas, beers and floats provide the ideal accompaniment to the menu, but be sure to check out one of their world-famous handmade shakes and malts. Served in metal shakers and enough for two glasses per serving, choose from a range of flavours including butterscotch, peanut butter, Oreo cookie and mint chocolate, or try the ‘hard’ shakes with dark rum or Baileys for a truly naughty treat.
