Blackburn is well served by public transport with direct routes from major towns. There are direct train services to Manchester, Bolton, Salford, Clitheroe, Accrington, Preston, Blackpool, Burnley and across to Yorkshire.

Passengers can now enjoy a modern new multi-million-pound bus station and a recently refurbished railway station situated on Railway Road as part of the regeneration project underway in the town centre.

Travel by car is just as convenient, with good access from the national motorway network, visiting Blackburn couldn’t be easier. A short drive from the M6 and M65 motorway, Blackburn is easy to reach.

Fast (22kW) charge points for electric vehicles are located in Feilden St, Brown St and Weir St car parks.  The tariff is 25p/kWh.  There is a maximum stay of 4 hours and parking is free whilst charging.  Slow (7kw) charge points are also available in The Mall car park.
