As Blackburn BID Manager, since the Coronavirus outbreak and restrictions have been imposed, I have worked with the BID Executive Board to adapt the BID work plan for 2020 and focus on supporting BID members with information, advice, support, security and promotion (as far as appropriate).
I’m also planning and preparing for recovery of the town centre and BID businesses, and in the next few days I will be sending you a survey to complete for your feedback about the best ways the BID can support you, your business and the town centre as restrictions are lifted.
As well as this feedback, I’m exploring and supporting research into customer behaviour as restrictions are lifted and how this will impact on town centres and our businesses. To that end I’d be grateful if you could share the following survey and encourage people to participate so we can get a better picture and plan for recovery:

The survey has been created by Association of Town Centre Management (ATCM) member Jeremy Rucker of City Dressing, and the results will be published and broken down geographically, so the more local information we have the better.
