Support finder tool launched by the Government

Tuesday 21 April

The government have launched a new ‘support finder’ tool to help businesses and self-employed people to quickly and easily determine what financial support is available to them during the coronavirus pandemic.

You can find the tool at this link, where there is a short and simple questionnaire to complete:

The government have also issued data about the payments made so far by local authorities in business support grants.  For your information Blackburn with Darwen Council have made the following payments up to 19 April:

Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council£46,448,0004,2052,095£23,515,000

You can find details of all local authority payments here:

Blackburn with Darwen Council are working hard to process payments as quickly as they can, and payments are being made twice a week.  They are unfortunately dealing with a number of incorrectly completed forms and fraudulent claims which does slow the process down.
