CALLING ALL Young, Talented Makers – Apply Now!

Be part of the ‘Future Makers Market’ as part of the National Festival of Making on 15 & 16 June 2019!!

The market will provide a free platform for people under 20 years old to sell products you have created, curated, designed, upcycled and generally worked their magic on!

Now in its third year, The National Festival of Making takes over the streets of Blackburn town centre with music, markets, street food, art, performance, tours, talks and above all, an eclectic mix of making experiences for everyone.

The market will take place on Ainsworth St (by Blackburn Bus Station & Market) over both days of the event – Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 June 2019, 10am to 5pm. Applications to trade on one of the days will be considered but priority will be given to those wanting to trade on both days.

Blackburn and Darwen Hive are supporting the event by offering mentorship for any young traders who want to expand their business talents beyond the Festival.
