With Easter arriving early this year, the Blackburn Business Improvement District (BID) has planned a host of family-orientated events for Easter and beyond across Blackburn town centre.
Visitors are invited to follow a series of cryptic clues around the town centre between Saturday, 5th March and Monday, 4th April to be in with a chance of winning £500 worth of shopping vouchers or an edible 3 foot jewel-encrusted golden egg just in time for Easter.
Plucky the Hen’s Easter trail will see a dozen 3 foot chocolate eggs hidden in a range shops. Each happy hunter has to collect 12 stamps from each business on the entry form and return it to the Ask Me Point in the Mall Blackburn or the Visitor Centre in Blackburn Market before 4pm on Monday, 4th April to be in with a chance of winning a star prize.
As part of the Easter ‘eggstravaganza’, there will be a chance to meet and greet Plucky the Hen in Blackburn Market on Saturday, 12th March and at the Mall Blackburn Shopping centre on Easter Saturday, 26th March between 11.30am – 2pm.
