Businesses in Blackburn are invited to the next BID Breakfast to find out how they can take advantage of a major marketing drive and large scale festival which aims to attract record visitor numbers to the town in one weekend.
The Blackburn Heritage Festival takes place from 11-14 September and with a fully funded marketing plan provides big opportunities for traders in the town to take advantage of the exposure by putting on activities, displaying their archives or supporting with sponsorship.
This large scale celebration of Blackburn’s past will be part of this year’s national Heritage Open Days event taking place the same weekend across the UK and organisers are using the opportunity to put Blackburn on the map. With planning well under way there’s an appeal for those with connections to the oldest buildings, companies and organisations in the town to get involved.
Event organiser, Harriet Roberts will be speaking at the next BID Breakfast at Liz ‘n’ Lil’s on Thursday 3 July from 7.30am and local businesses and community organisations are all invited.
