Blackburn BID’s AGM: Have Your Say

MORE than 370 levy payers are invited to have their say on how their money should be invested in the BID’s second year of operation at Blackburn BID’s annual general meeting.

Levy payers are invited to elect Executive Board members responsible for running the BID in its second year and to discuss the business plan for the year ahead.

Town centre wardens to deter anti-social behaviour and a makeover for vacant properties are two of the measures unveiled for 2015 in the BID’s business plan.

Manager of the BID, Harriet Roberts, said: “The vote for board members is an opportunity to get involved with the decision making process and have a say in how traders’ money is invested in the town centre.

Invitations to attend the AGM along with a copy of the BID’s first annual report and invitations to be part of the BID board were delivered to 379 businesses.

The AGM takes place on Wednesday, February 25 at Kings Court, Blackburn with the doors open from 5.30pm.
