The magical world of Baby Sensory is proving a huge hit for little ones and their parents at The Mall Blackburn.
The international and multi-award winning baby development programme launched in the shopping centre in July and offers structured sessions that have been designed specifically for babies from birth to 13 months.
Every activity is carefully designed with your baby’s development in mind, based on years of educational and scientific research. Fibre optic light shows, music, glowing bouncy balls, bubbles, bells, songs, rainbows, parachutes, puppet shows and tickly feathers are just a few of the activities on offer.
The unique classes were extremely popular and will return on Friday 13th September following a short break.
Thomas Culshaw, who has attended the sessions in The Mall with his daughter Lucy, said: “Charlotte is so passionate about what she does and Baby Sensory is a great way for Lucy to learn and develop important skills whilst having fun!”
Mia Coogan, who came along with son Casper agreed. She said “We’ve really enjoyed attending Baby Sensory and we will definitely be back when they start again in September!”

Charlotte Bamber who owns Baby Sensory Blackburn and runs the classes is looking forward to meeting new parents in September. She said: “I enjoy every single second of Baby Sensory and it is wonderful to meet parents and hear about their journey so far.
“It is a great way to leave the hustle and bustle of the word behind and spend quality time with your little one.
“We have been warmly welcomed at The Mall and I can’t wait to get going again!”
Baby Sensory was developed Dr Lin Day, who is one of the UK’s leading parenting experts and a renowned feature writer and speaker within the field of childcare and education.
Much of the carefully designed equipment and many of the songs are unique to the programme and over 30,000 babies attend a Baby Sensory class nationwide every single week.
The classes will take place in The Mall’s training room, which can be found at the top of the stairs opposite Home & Fragrance.
Sessions, which last 45 minutes, start at 11.00am (babies aged 3-13 months) and 12.15pm (babies aged birth-6 months). The next term is 7 weeks long, starting from Friday 13th September- 1st November (with a week break on 25thOctober for half term) and costs £45.50 for all 7 sessions.
There may be limited drop in slots available, which are £7.00 per week.
