Age UK Blackburn with Darwen would like to remind everyone that our free, independent advice and information service is available through our office based Blackburn Library.
Providing advice is one of our core functions and through this service, we offer local older people and their carers holistic advice to enable them to make their own decisions based on accurate information.
We can also now assist people who need help with issues that require digital support like searching for the best deal online, reporting items to the council, housing applications or setting up an email address etc. This is by appointment only in our Blackburn Library office.
Vicky Shepherd, Chief Executive said “We have been working to ensure that older people benefit from technological change for many years. Technology is no longer an optional extra and our volunteers will take time to show you how to undertake the tasks you need.”
