We’re already half way through the year – so here’s a copy of your Blackburn BID 6 Month Review Newsletter 2021, which outlines the support, projects and initiatives which have been delivered by Blackburn BID so far this year.
A hard copy is being printed and will be delivered to you shortly.
I also want to let you know that reminders will be going out to levy-paying BID members who haven’t paid their levy invoices for 2021 as yet (year 3 of the 2019-23 BID term). Levy collection is carried out by Blackburn with Darwen Council, and the invoices will be sent to the person they have as the liable party for business rates for your property, as at 1 January 2021.
We know this is a difficult time to be requesting payment of the BID levy, but we have been working hard over the course of 2020 and 2021 to support our BID members and we will continue to do so throughout the BID term. Blackburn BID levy income is crucial to being able to continue investment in Blackburn town centre for the benefit of you and your business, and the attached Newsletter shows you what we’ve been able to achieve with the levy collected so far.
I recognise that working arrangements have changed dramatically over the last 12 months, and so if there are alternative contact details for the levy payer for your business (e.g. email address), where we need to send the invoice to, please contact me with the details.
Voluntary BID members:
Finally if you are or have been a voluntary BID member, paying a voluntary contribution and you would to continue to do so, or you are interested in becoming a voluntary BID member, please let me know.
Thank you to those of you who have paid your BID levy for 2021, and thank you for your continued support of Blackburn town centre BID.
