The government has issued new and updated guidance for various areas of operation.
- The government will allow community centres and other multi-use community facilities to open on 4 July. Managers of community facilities will have discretion over when they consider it safe to open for any activity permitted by legislation and may decide to remain closed if they are not able to safely follow the advice in the relevant guidance, to make the space COVID-19 secure. - The guidance regarding the phased return of outdoor sports has been updated, to reflect that from 4 July outdoor gyms and playgrounds can open, as can clubhouse bars and restaurants, and up to two households are permitted to gather in groups of more than 6 people indoors or outdoors, provided members of different households can follow social distancing guidelines.
