4th May -8th June: Blackburn Artists’ Society Annual Open Exhibition, Blackburn Museum & Art Gallery (Saturday 4th May 2pm, Wednesday –Saturday 12noon -4pm)

Until 14th May: “By the Hand of” Icons Exhibition by Chris Czainski, Blackburn Cathedral South Transept

6th -11th May: “Conversation”, an exhibition by Matilde Tomat, Blackburn Cathedral

6th May: FREE Guided Walk: Blackburn in the Cotton Famine, meet at the Clock Tower, King William Street 10.30am (approx. 1 hour 45 mins)

8th May: Lunchtime Recital by Tasmin Brown from Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, at Blackburn Cathedral 1pm

8th May: ArtBurn, The Making Rooms, Exchange St. 4.30pm

8th May: FREE Guided Walk: Blackburn in the Cotton Famine, meet at the Clock Tower, King William Street 7pm (approx. 1 hour 45 mins)
