Romantic Pioneer Swings Into Blackburn

As the voice of a generation hits his 25th year as a solo artist, Tony Hadley celebrates with an exclusive show at King George’s Hall, Blackburn.

Tony Hadley, famed lead singer of Spandau Ballet, released his first solo album back in 1992 and has continued to release albums, including jazz/swing and Christmas collections. The singer took a break from singing when he headed into the jungle as part of the TV show I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here and was the winner of ITV’s reality show Reborn in the USA.

In 2005, Tony’s contribution to the music industry was officially recognised with a Gold Badge award from the British Academy of Composers and Songwriters. In 2007, his performance as Billy Flynn in Chicago on the London’s West End Stage was met with critical acclaim.

The man that earned the accolade of being one of pop music’s greatest vocalists and a pioneer of the 80’s romantic movement will be entertaining audiences at King George’s Hall on Friday 29 September. This is Tony’s only full concert date in the UK this year.
